A successful student will, by the end of the semester, demonstrate the following: the ability to define a meaningful, manageable historical question or challenge. the ability to discover, evaluate, and analyze primary sources that could be used to answer the question, and secondary sources to provide historiographical framework and historical context. the ability to produce a clear, original, and compelling analytical argument based on appropriately selected primary and secondary sources. the ability to present research and analysis in a coherent and well-crafted form. the ability to discuss and present research and analysis orally. |
